81 years MUTTER ERNST - Old Frankfurter Restauration

10.01.1938 for the first time we opened the doors of ''Gaststätte Ernst''. A butcher from Frankfurts neighborhood city Offenbach

mr. Richard Ernst and his wife Else make a wish come true.

1965 died Richard and Else decided to run the company by herself and her daughter Anna Maria (Marita).

1975 starts Marita as chief, at this time all guests are going to the ''mother'' and so she decided to change the name of the restaurant and the all known name ''Mutter Ernst'' starts success. Together with her husband Gert Ullrich she runs the business successful till the 31st of December 1999 and retired, but still gave a helping hand during the last years. She died July 2015.

In January 2000 the stepson Stephan Ullrich took over the restaurant and till today, he takes care of it and love to do it.

2013 a big renovation took place, but the impression of the sixties and seventies didn't change.

The ''Mutter Ernst'' offers the guests substantial, native, fresh cooked frankfurter dishes (we do not serve any convenience), cool local drinks and nice entertainment.

Stay here and feel the comfortable and nice atmosphere a place to feel good in the surrounding crowd!

Unfortunately we have to close our business in march 2020, due to demolition of our house,

in July 2022 we'll reopen.
